This being a website, there are few ethical or social issues. When we re-designed the website, the team had consider that most of the users were going to 65 or older because the website is meant for retired employees. Some users have a hard time using the internet to check their emails, logging with their passwords, or even have internet access. When comparing the Georgia State University Emeriti website to Emory University's, the team realized that there was a world of difference when it came to usability. We needed to update the current Emeriti website from web 1.0 to web 2.0 to allow our users to navigate easily through the website.
